BÜLENT BÖREKÇİLİK PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING AND STORAGE INFORMATION NOTICE FOR JOB CANDIDATES IN ACCORDANCE WITH PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LEGISLATION
1. Identity of the Data Controller
As Joint Data Controllers, the Group Companies BÜLENT UNLU MAMÜLLER PAZARLAMA SATIŞ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ and BÜLENT BÖREKÇİLİK İMALAT PAZARLAMA SANAYİ VE DIŞ TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (hereinafter referred to as “Bülent Börekçilik” or the “Company”) have prepared this JOB CANDIDATE INFORMATION NOTICE to provide you, our valued job candidates, with detailed information on how we process your personal data. ÇALIŞAN ADAYIMIZ olmanız sebebiyle elde edeceğimiz kişisel verilere ilişkin açık rızanızı alabilmemiz için aydınlatma yükümlülüğü kapsamında aşağıdaki hususları bilgilerinize sunuyoruz.
2. Processing of Personal Data and Purposes of Processing
As a job candidate, the personal and special category data you share with our Company—including your identity information, contact details, photo, and any health information or union/association/foundation memberships provided in your resume (additionally, special category personal data such as religious beliefs or health information may be indirectly derived from identity documents or copies of your ID/license)—will be processed by our Company within the scope of job application procedures. This includes evaluating your data during the interview process, recording workplace areas for security purposes, conducting reference checks, assessing your suitability for the position, managing offer and placement processes, ensuring data security, and, if the hiring does not occur, reviewing your resume for potential future positions and contacting you, provided that you have given your explicit consent.
3. To Whom and For What Purposes Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred
Your personal data will not be transferred to any institution or organization, except in cases required by law and other mandatory regulations in force, or to our Company’s affiliates, business partners, or companies providing personal data processing and storage services to our Company.
4. Method of Collecting Personal Data and Legal Basis
Your personal data is collected—based solely on legal obligations, the establishment of a contract as specified in Article 5, paragraph 2 of the Law, and your explicit consent—physically and electronically, through applications made to our Company’s website, email address, or directly to our Company Representatives verbally or in writing, as well as through information provided during interviews and/or via recruitment agencies we cooperate with.
5. Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data
Within the scope of Article 11 of the Law, as the data subject, you—or your authorized representative with a notarized and explicit right—have the right to apply to our Company at any time to request information solely regarding yourself.
- The right to learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- To request information if personal data has been processed
- The right to learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is being used in accordance with that purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, domestically or abroad,
- The right to request the correction of your personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
- To request the deletion or destruction of personal data,
- The right to request that actions regarding the correction, deletion, or destruction of personal data be communicated to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,
- To object to the emergence of a result against oneself through the exclusive analysis of processed data by automated systems,
- You have the right to request compensation for any damages you incur due to the unlawful processing of your personal data under the Law.
6. Application Process Regarding the Protection of Personal Data
a. For applications regarding your personal data within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698,

Your request regarding the right to access information or other rights enumerated in the Law, along with a notarized or wet-signed application form and identification information verifying your identity, can be sent via registered mail with return receipt to the following address: Göztepe Mahallesi İnönü Caddesi No:122 Başkule Plaza Kat:17, 34218 Bağcılar, Istanbul, Turkey; or:
You may submit it to us through the verification of your identity, using the methods specified in the Law and other relevant regulations.
b. According to Article 5, Paragraph 2 of the Law, the information and documents that must be included in your application are as follows:
Full name, and if the application is in writing, a signature is required.
For Turkish citizens, the Turkish ID number is required; for foreigners, nationality, passport number, or, if available, an ID number must be provided.
The residential or business address for notification purposes must be provided.
If available, the email address, phone number, and fax number for notification purposes must be provided.
The subject of the request must be specified.
If any of the information listed above is missing, or if the Company cannot understand the request of the Data Subject, the application may be rejected by our Company.
c. Application Date, as stated in Articles 4 and 5 of Article 5 of the Law:
- For written applications, the application date is the date on which the document is delivered to the data controller or their representative.
- For applications made through other methods, the application date is the date on which the application reaches the data controller.
d. Is There Any Fee for the Application?
No fee other than the legally specified fees may be requested for responding to your applications.
According to Article 7, Paragraph 1 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Applying to the Data Controller, “If the data subject’s application is to be answered in writing, no fee shall be charged for up to ten pages. A processing fee of 1 (one) Turkish Lira may be charged for each page beyond ten pages.”
According to Article 7, Paragraph 2 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Applying to the Data Controller, If your response to the application is provided on a storage medium such as a CD or flash drive, the data controller may request the cost of the storage medium from you.
e. Response Time
In accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 6698, our Company will process application requests within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days, provided that the request is clear and contains the necessary elements. If your request is rejected, the reason(s) for the rejection will be communicated to you in writing by mail or via email.
7. WHAT HAPPENS IF I READ THIS DOCUMENT ON BÜLENT BÖREKÇİLİK’S WEBSITES OR THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA AND PLATFORMS?
By approving this document online or digitally, or by checking the box that provides the link to open this text, you acknowledge and agree that this document will have the same effect as if it were signed with a wet signature by you, and that the Company’s records will be taken as definitive.
